Green Garden Farms or Team GGF, established in 2003 is a partnership concern. Primarily this firm was started with the intention of exporting processed vegetables and due the nature of its business it started to invest in lands to grow vegetables for export market

As the saying goes ‘Fortune favours the brave’, we were brave enough to invest in lands in and around Devanhalli and Doddaballpur. In order to pump in more funds into our export project surplus land available with us was sold by placing an advertisement in local dailies. The response was tremendous and land was sold like a ‘Hot Cake’ in no time. This was due to the fact that during May2005 land prices shot-up around Devanahalli and Doddaballapur because of their proximity to the new Bangalore International Airport at Devanahalli, which is just 15 Kilometers from our dream project - ‘GREEN VILLAS’ - a fully developed, ’ready-to-relax’, exclusive gated community, individually compounded, farm-Houses/Villas which have unique features and the details of which are available in our Farm house section.

The model farm house is fully ready and could be viewed either by a personal visit or by visiting our photo gallery.  

But all this wild idea of owning a farm house has a small glitch. The people working in emerging industries in and around Bangalore were disappointed that farm land could not be sold to them. The reasons were simple, 99% of them were not agriculturists.

Section 79 A and B of Karnataka land reforms acts makes it very clean that agricultural land has to be bought by or sold to agriculturists. The definition of agriculturist is very simple; either you should own agricultural land in your name through inheritance or any of your very close relative should own agricultural land. The family tree certified by the village accountant, should mention your relationship with your close relatives very clearly.

When we launched our first phase of Villa project, ~ `Green Meadows’, we had enquires about how to buy a farm land and even today `Enquiries are still pouring in through personal visits, e-mails, phones etc. Asking the promoters what can be done to overcome this hurdle so that the people can own a piece of greenery around Bangalore .
